Morecambe WInter Gardens Information
Queuing & Seating
We look forward to welcoming you to the Winter Gardens. We want to ensure everyone stays safe and can enjoy their visit. Everything we are doing is in accordance with all current Government guidelines.
Before we open each day cleaning will take place with all touchable surfaces sanitised and floors mopped.
To comply with the current situation, only our main entrance will be open. Entry will be via the right hand side and exit on the left. Barriers and signs will be in place to facilitate this. A hand sanitising station will be at the entrance and we ask everyone to make use of this.
On entry to the theatre please present your booking confirmation to our entry volunteer who will click you in.
If you have prebooked a Tour ticket you do not need to prebook an entry ticket.
If you have not pre booked we will need to take a contact name and number from you.
Under current restrictions we are unable to admit groups of more than 6 people (including children).
Auditorium & Toilets
Signs will be in place to ensure social distancing throughout the building.
We are a Registered Charity and depend on your generous donations. We will have cash collection boxes available on leaving the theatre. We also welcome contactless donations and these can be made either at our Bar counter when ordering or by seeing one of our theatre volunteers.
Our Toilets will be open. The inside one only for our wheelchair using visitors and the outside ones for everyone else. Only one person at a time permitted at the outside toilets. Good hand washing practise should be followed. Hand sanitiser will be available on entry back into the auditorium.
Tables will be placed socially distant in the auditorium. Once you have finished we ask that you place all cups and packaging in the bin provided and return your tray to the marked table.
Tables are solely for the use of people ordering refreshments from the cafe. People cannot consume their own food and drink on the premises.
All our tables and trays will be sanitised in between uses.
Our Café will be open but will operate differently. The Bar will not be open.
A queuing system will operate so that orders will be taken at our Bar counter. We ask that payment be made by contactless card wherever possible. Hot drinks will be in disposable cups. Milk and sugar will be in individual packs. Cold drinks will be in cans/plastic bottles.
Once you have ordered you will be given a ticket number and you can then choose a table in the auditorium to sit at. Once your order is ready it will be brought to your table. You can then enjoy your refreshments.
Our Tours are operating and can be prebooked online using the link below.
Tours will be in smaller groups than previously (max 5 currently) to ensure social distancing. If there are any tour places available on the day we ask that you pay for these by contactless card if possible.
